Why Your Brain Feels Foggy at Work
An introduction to the science of what’s actually happening in your brain and why the usual advice doesn’t touch it.
This is a live session for experienced professional women in demanding roles, where staying mentally sharp is necessary for their job.
Thursday 8th October 7.30pm (UK)
Does this sound familiar?
• You write everything down now, not because you're organised, but because you no longer trust yourself to hold it
• You find yourself rereading emails or reports because the information doesn’t seem to stick the first time.
• You lose your train of thought or struggle to find familiar words—especially when you’re under pressure.
You will find out
Why it's happening. The exact mechanism that explains why you forget a conversation you were fully present for, and why it may not be simply a problem of memory loss.
What's actually changeable. What the evidence tells us about how the brain continues to adapt throughout adult life and the factors that influence how well it functions.
What protects you long-term. The explanation of how the brain’s capacity can adapt over time, and the practical factors you can influence.
Hi I'm Chrissy
I help professional women stay sharp. I show them what's happening in their brain and what to do about it.
Before becoming a coach, I spent more than 30 years as a pharmacist, turning complex medical information into clear, practical guidance people could actually use.
I also know what it's like to work where getting it wrong isn't an option and to notice your recall isn't quite what it was.
Today, I bring that same clarity to the science of how the brain works, so women come away not simply knowing more, but knowing what to do next.
I translate the science into real life

Who is this for?
This is for you if:
You’ve been doing demanding work for twenty years or more, and you've noticed changes over the last 2-3 years.
Your work depends on holding detail accurately, and a mistake costs more than embarrassment.
You want to understand what may be affecting how your brain works and discover practical, evidence informed steps that go beyond generic advice.
You've quietly wondered whether this is the beginning of something, and haven't said that out loud to anyone.
This is not for you if:
You have a diagnosed neurological condition or are looking for a medical diagnosis or treatment.
You’re hoping for a quick fix, a “miracle” supplement, or an overnight result.
You want another generic list telling you to sleep more, eat well and exercise.
Save your seat
One hour on what's actually happening in your brain when the words won't come in a meeting, and your focus goes. I'll show you what to do about it.
Thursday 8th October 7.30pm (UK)
A recording goes out afterwards, but the live session is where I answer your questions. Come live if you possibly can.
This session is for education, not medical advice. If you're worried about your memory, please speak to your GP.
